Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. Today we have listened to some classical music which has been inspired by nature. 

 

During our PSHE lesson, we took advantage of the nice weather ( it stopped raining!) and went outside to take part in some activities as the theme is nature and getting outside. We began by talking about what mental health is and ways we can look after our mental health. 

 

We then lay lay on the floor, calmed our minds and then cloud gazed to see what shapes we could spot in the clouds. We then lay under the trees to see how the light changed through the leaves.

 

Following this, we hugged some trees with our friends to see how they smelled and felt. Then we worked with our friends to make art using things we could find from nature.
