Homework

Homework is usually set in English and Maths weekly and other subjects too may have some home tasks to support their learning from time to time. Each child in year 5 has a homework folder which will help them keep homework together. Homework is usually set for a week. So children will usually get a week to complete and return it. 

 

Spelling will be given out on a Thursday and should be practised at home and returned to school for the following week.

 

Maths and English tasks may also be set online using School Online or Purple Mash (links below).  Usernames and passwords are written in children's orange login books.  

There may occasionally be additional pieces of homework set.  These will always be given in good time and will be communicated to all families through our Class Dojo platform.
