Walking in the light of God’s Love-Together we will succeed
Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
Celebrate with us!
'Class stars' are children selected by the class teacher - it could be for extra hard work, a great attitude or achieving something individual to the pupil.
What talented children we have at St Mary's! After multiple rounds of auditions and semi-finals all week, the two finalists showcased their performances for us all this morning. Children then returned to class to vote before returning to the hall for the big announcement. Despite an Oscar-like mishap with the announcement, the winner is....our very own little Annie! Congratulations!
Thank you Miss McKinlay for organising and running this year's shows.
Today, we sadly had to say more goodbyes:
Jude from Reception is moving on to his new school and we hope he will settle in and have lots of fun. Miss Moyà is also leaving. She has been a most lovely, caring person and we wish her well in her future roles. Finally, we say goodbye to Mr Kirby who leaves to take up his new role in Gilmour Junior School. Who'd have thought that the fresh-faced TA who started 9 years ago would leave us? He was treated to a specially written song from Eden - well done! Thank you for all of your sporting prowess! Congratulations Mr Kirby and we wish you well.
Finally, we say goodbye to our Year 6 children. Thank you for all you have brought get to St Mary's and we wish you well on your onward journey to secondary school. She them what you are made of and remember to come back and visit when you can.

What an excting day! We have had a wide variety of visitors today from a broad range of careers to talk to us for our Aspirations Day. We played 'Guess Who' with some of our visitors before having sessions in class to find out more about their jobs.
This afternoon, Key Stage 2 have been having a Careers Fair where they had to write and ask questions to find out more about their possible future careers.
Thank you to all the parents and visitors who gave up their time to come and talk to us - the children thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you also to Miss Turpin for all of the hard work she has put in to organise the day.
