Year 3 and Year 4 have had a fabulous afternoon with author and illustrator, Chris Mould. He told us all about how he draws, his favorite books and how he came to illustrate The Iron Man. He drew a huge Iron Man whilst he was talking to us which he has very kindly given as a gift to the school as a reminder of his visit.
Each class then then got to do an illustration workshop with him where he took us through the drawing process for The Iron Man. Following this, he stayed behind to sign books for everyone - the queue was extremely long!!
Thank you to Chris and his wife, Sue for making this a day to remember. A huge thank you to the PTFA for subsidising this visit and enriching our children's experiences of literature.
