Welcome to St Mary's C.E School, West Derby!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the website for St. Mary's C of E Primary School. St. Mary’s West Derby is a one form entry Church of England Primary School, which encourages strong links with home, church and the wider community.

We aim for high standards in all we do and strive to provide high quality provision in support of pupils' achievements and progress. Our aim is to work as a Christian community, which welcomes children and values them as individuals. We are very fortunate to have great support from our parents, governors, PTA and other friends of our school. We are all very proud of our school and our community.

Children are encouraged to develop their self-esteem, individual potential and self-reliance both in the classroom and through our ever growing extra-curricular provision.

Most children join our school in Reception and stay with us for all of their primary years. They leave as well rounded and caring individuals. We often welcome past pupils back to school and support them with their work experience or college placements.
