Stephen Twigg
Stephen Twigg, M.P. for West Derby visited St. Mary's today. He had a chat with Mrs Thomson and Mrs Armstrong before taking a tour of the school when he met with some of our School Council. Mr Twigg is a familiar figure in West Derby and some of the children enjoyed chatting to him, having met him on previous occasions. He visited each classroom and was interested to hear the children talking about their own knowledge of what an M.P. does and where they work. We had a few interesting answers! We hope Mr Twigg will come to visit us again. Well done to our Class 6 photographer for capturing photos of the event.
