  • Paralympian visit

Tue 24 Jan 2017 Mrs Hall

This afternoon we were visited by Craig McCann, a Paralympic athlete, and Jenny who works for Sports for Schools. They put the children through their paces over a circuit of four exercises which children have been sponsored for. Craig then spoke to everyone about his challenges and successes. Children were then asked to pledge to always give 100%. Could sponsor money please be sent into school by next Tuesday ( 31st January) when it is to be collected. School will receive half of monies raised to go towards purchasing sports equipment.

Thank you for your support for this event and thank you to Mr Kirby for facilitating the event.

  • Google Expeditions

Mon 09 Jan 2017 Mrs Hall

Wow! We have been really busy today travelling to the Moon, exploring mountains, getting yucky with the digestive system and visiting Santa in Lapland!

Jacinta from Google Expeditions brought in headsets which allowed children to explore each 360 degree environment As if they were there. The reactions were brilliant and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Videos from the session are in the Gallery.

  • Welcome Back!

Wed 04 Jan 2017 Mrs Hall
