  • Interfaith Week

Fri 14 Feb 2025 Mrs Hall

In Collective Worship today, we celebrated all the wonderful work and learning that we have done this week on Buddhism. There was lots of lovely artwork, hearts of love and compassion, poetry, posters, leaflets and clay sculptures. Year 5 told everyone about Year 4 and 5's visit to the Kadampa Buddist Centre. Everyone has really enjoyed their learning experiences.

  • Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Centre visit

Tue 11 Feb 2025 Mrs Hall

Today Class 4 and Class 5 visited the Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Centre in Sefton Park. We split into two groups: one group completed activity booklets about Buddhism whilst the other group went into the meditation room with Kelsang Gogden. There we found out about Buddhism practices and teachings and were able to ask lots of questions. We were then led in a meditation by Kelsang Gogden which was very calming.

We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you to Mr Kelly for all of the organisation that went into the visit.
