  • Shrove Tuesday /Mardi Gras

Tue 28 Feb 2017 Mrs Hall
There were pancakes galore in school today! Children got to sample both scotch-style and traditional pancakes (crepes) to help raise funds for the Vital Signs Foundation (VSF) which is our current chosen charity. A brilliant £163.15 was raised to kick start the fundraising! Thank you to everyone who contributed.

  • Maths Workshops

Wed 01 Feb 2017 Mrs Hall

After applying for, and winning a grant for mathematics, we were able to have the University of Liverpool Maths Outreach Team in again. This time they did four different workshops with Key Stage 2 involving looking at maths in art, game shows and code breaking. The children enjoyed the activities and we look forward to having the team in again.
