  • Christmas Party Day

Wed 19 Dec 2018 Mrs Hall

What a busy day it has been today! Lots of finishing off activities, singing in the hall then Christmas dinner for all the children. Staff waited on the children as Christmas music played in the hall.

This afternoon, KS1 and EYFS, then KS2 went into the hall for dancing and party games followed by a drink and some Haribo. Thank you to all of the staff for their enthusiasm!

    One more day!

  • Cinema Visit

Mon 17 Dec 2018 Mrs Hall

Today the whole school visited the Showcase Cinema to watch Nativity Rocks. This whole event, including the transport, was organised by the PTFA. It is events like this which are funded by funds raised through events supported by you.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the film - even breaking into applause when a bad guy got his comeuppance!

Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who came along as helpers and a massive thank you to the PTFA for all their hard work in running events and organising the visit.

  • Christmas Bookbuddy Surprises

Fri 14 Dec 2018 Mrs Hall

This morning, a lovely golden parcel arrived at school for us. Whenever any of these parcels arrive, it always brightens up the day because our Bookbuddies, Bronnie and Bob at The Bookwagon always send us beautiful books. Today was no exceptions - as you can see they have sent us some amazing festive books - we can't wait to get our teeth into these.

Thank you Bronnie and Bob! Season's Greetings to you both from all at St Mary's.

  • Breakfast With Santa

Fri 07 Dec 2018 Mrs Hall

This morning, the PTFA worked their usual magic and hosted an amazing event - Breakfast With Santa. The PTFA and their little elves worked late into the evening to ensure the hall looked beautiful and was ready to go first thing. Everywhere was very festive and children were so excited.

Children had a choice of breakfasts and drinks, crackers to pull and craft or colouring activities. Santa made his way around the hall, high- fiving and spreading Christmas cheer!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the PTFA and their elves for yet another successful event.
