  • Travelling Books Book Fair

    Tue 18 Mar 2014

Many thanks to everyone who attended our Travelling Books Book Fair. We hope you enjoyed browsing through the shelves. As ever, we were allowed to take our commission from the fair, as books from the library!

This year we sold £729 in books and so were able to claim £377 in books from the shelves as commission. These book will be going directly into the library for the children to read. Luke and Chloe, our wonderful library monitors will be bar coding and stamping them all ready for use! So don't forget to look out for new titles.

Thanks to Travelling Books and a huge thank-you to Mr Dunsby, Mrs Ford and Mrs Lynch for your tireless efforts each night after school, running the fair.

Don't forget to visit next year!

  • World Book Day

    Thu 06 Mar 2014
Once again, the school was a wonderful array of colourful characters as we celebrated 'World Book Day'. The day began with a whole-school catwalk in the hall where characters strutted their stuff before striking a pose. It was a difficult decision to choose winners. What was originally planned to be four winners turned into 11 but even then, the whole school could have been chosen! Thank you all once again for your fantastic efforts and continued support in these events.
