  • Financial Times

Tue 21 Nov 2017 Mr Hargreaves

Following our exciting visit to Alsop last Friday, we were informed that not only were we featured on the Financial Times website, we had made it in the FT itself!  I have attached a photo of the article, that is now proudly displayed in School.  I have a video of the choir performance that I will show at a school event so you can hear how beautifully they sang.  Unfortunately for some technical reason we are unable to upload video on the website.

Thanks again for getting your children to school so early last week - with the security that surrounded the occasion, every minute counted!

    Mr Hargreaves

  • Singing for Mark Carney

Sat 18 Nov 2017 Mrs Hall

Congratulations to Mrs Armstrong and our school choir for a lovely performance on Thursday at Alsop High School. The choir were honoured to be invited by Mr Peter Bull who does a lot of work for a project named For The Common Good.

The children sang for Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England. They also got to listen to him talk about his job and answer questions about his job and himself, they even feature in today's Financial Times ( Sat 18th Nov)!

Thank you Mr Bull for the invite and for including us in this exclusive event!

  • Open The Book

Thu 09 Nov 2017 Mrs Hall
Today we watched the story of The Runaway. This was the second part of the story between Jacob and Esau, two brothers who fell out but through God, Esau said he was sorry and was forgiven. The two brothers made up eventually. An important message.
