Walking in the light of God’s Love-Together we will succeed
Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
Celebrate with us!
'Class stars' are children selected by the class teacher - it could be for extra hard work, a great attitude or achieving something individual to the pupil.
Today was a mixture of both happiness and sadness. We say goodbye to Year 6 and wish them well as they continue their journey to secondary school.
We also said farewell to Mr Andrew Dutton who has been a valuable member of our Governing Body for fifteen years. We wish him all the future happiness as he begins married life in pastures new. Thank you for all of your work and support at St. Mary's.
Final farewells were also said to Mr P Kelly and Miss Wilson as they branch out in their careers. Thank you for all of the fun and enthusiasm you have brought to us. Good luck at University, Miss Wilson and good luck at Lister Drive, Mr Kelly. Don't be strangers!

This morning we watched the story of how Joshua solved his problems and the walls of Jericho came tumbling down. It featured 16 of Year 6 as it was their last Open The Book. today we had a special guest appearance by Mr Hargreaves who certainly threw himself into his role! Thank you to Open The Book for brining the bible to life for us.
Oo la la! Fantastique! Tres bon effort tout le monde! The yard was a palette of red, white and blue this morning. Everyone has entered into the spirit of the day with gusto, thank you.
We began our celebrations with catwalk to French music before picking a Key Stage 1 and a Key Stage 2 winner. Children then had the opportunity to buy French pastries at break.
