We were very fortunate to secure a visit from the go-to author for children's horror : Jennifer Killick. Jennifer visited every Key Stage 2 class where she talked about herself and her writing as well as reading from her books. She did Q&A sessions with lower KS2 and a bit of writing, then in upper KS2, she did writing workshops. After each session, children were able to get their own copies of Jennifer's books signed in person!
Thank you to Jennifer for making thee long journey to visit us, to Bronnie and Bob at Bookwagon Ltd for facilitating the book sales and to the PTFA for funding the event- the children loved it!
