Christmas Jumper and Activity Day
Mon 04 Dec 2023All of the children looked mazing today in their Christmas jumpers. Every child enjoyed their time in the hall taking part in every activity several times. Thank you to Mrs Lynch and her merry band of elves for all their organisation and help running this event.

Maths at Home
Mon 04 Dec 2023We have been very fortunate to secure a grant from Liverpool Learning Partnership to enhance our Maths provision. We have chosen to buy Maths-related reading books. These books have already been enjoyed by the children as each class had a browsing session with them.
Each class now has their own allocation of books which are now being sent home each week for you to enjoy together. Each week one child will bring home a tote bag of books. We hope you can share, discuss and enjoy the maths in context with your child. Before returning, could you please check the attached card to make sure all books are returned - and undamaged. Damaged books will have to be replaced. There is also a book in the bag should you wish to make any comments.

Remembrance Day
Fri 10 Nov 2023This week, we have been talking about why we wear poppies and have Remembrance Day. Today the whole school came together at 11:00 a.m. to hold a two minute silence. A wreath will be laid on Sunday at the War Memorial in West Derby Village by Mrs Railton on behalf of the school.
