National Numeracy Day
Wed 21 May 2025We have celebrated National Numeracy Day today. This year's focus was Money and how it is used in real life. Classes took part in a variety of activities.
Reception looked at recognising different coins. They looked at their shape, colour and value. They used coins to make set amounts and selected items to buy with various prices.
Class 2 made tangrams focusing on shapes.
Class 4 took part in the National Numeracy assembly which included a picnic activity where budgets had to be kept and choices had to be made. They then took part in Dancing with Katya.
Class 6 became designers and created new rockstar outfits for their TTRockstar avatars.
