  • Roof repairs

Wed 07 Sep 2016 Mr Hargreaves
I hope you enjoy looking at St Mary's from an angle that is not often seen...from above!  These pictures range from the day the site was set up, the first layer being stripped, the hole in Year 2's ceiling(!) and today as the base layer was laid.  Work continues into the weekend.  The base layer will continue to be fitted on Class 2 this week, with Class 3 being fitted on Saturday.  Once this has happened, Class 2 can return to their room as the roofers progress and the final works are completed.

Bishop Richard visited school today to present our Church School Partnership 2 Award. Some of our School Governors also joined us and were all treated to a Collective Worship to showcase our five values: Respect and Reverence, Hope, Trust, Forgiveness and Thankfulness. Bishop Richard then presented our award and a beautiful wooden cross which was made especially for us. He then led us in prayer before taking a tour of the school and chatting to staff.
