To celebrate Science Week, we have had a visit from Ian Russell from Interactive Science Ltd.
This morning, KS1 were shown lots of experiments followed by KS2 this afternoon. Year 6 then had their own workshop with him. We were shown lots of fun experiments which could be done just using products and equipment which can be found at home. There were whizzes, bangs and pops! Floating balloons, smoke rings and turning red liquids blue!
The children all loved it ( and the adults). Thank you to the PTFA for funding this amazing event, and to Mrs Bailey for organising it.
Thank you to everyone who came in dressed in something red or wearing a red nose! A brilliant £139.01 was raised for Comic Relief, thank you so much!

Thank you to everyone who has supported today's Wear it Red in support of Team 1C at Alder Hey. They are very special to two of our children and we appreciate all they do.
Thank you to Mrs Love for the donations of prizes for the raffle. The grand total raised was £279!
Thank you to the Year 4 children for all of their fundraising efforts too. They made and sold a variety of goods which raised a brilliant £255 for Alder Hey.
