  • Today we were presented with the story of Jesus Heals The Lame Man. The man was 'lowered' through he roof by his friends so that he could be healed by Jesus. The man was then able to walk again through his faith in Jesus.

• Happy Birthday You Majesty

  Yesterday, to mark the 90th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, our pupils stood at the front of School and sung Happy Birthday, the National Anthem and then ended with our second verse of Happy Birthday.  It was lovely singing this across West Derby Village.  People did stop and others came out of the nearby houses to listen.  A very memorable day!  I hope you enjoy the video on this website (Summer Term Gallery) and the photograph below.

  This morning was an epic! Children from every class made a presentation on the aspects of Islam that they were allocated for this week. This gave a broad overview of the Islam faith and its practices. 

   

  Children who achieved them were then presented with their bronze or silver attendance certificates ( and a box of Maltesers for those on silver).

• Maundy Thursday Eucharist

  This afternoon we ended Holy Week at School with out Maundy Thursday Eucharist.  Venerable John Day led the celebration assisted by Mrs Yates from St Mary's CE Church.  It was a lovely way to end before the Easter weekend.  Here are a few photographs for you to enjoy and to give a flavour of the service.
